YasmineThank you, Hadeel!Macaroni and cheese is trciky, not because it's difficult, but because preferences vary from one person to another. Anyway, this is my favorite. I'll give you the basic recipe, you may flavor it as you like (paprika, extra pepper/salt, mustard powder, nutmeg etc!)Boil and drain about 400 grams of elbow macaroni.In a hot (slightly large) saucepan: melt 2 tablespoons of butter, add 1 minced garlic cove, 1 tablespoon minced onions, and cook till soft, for about 2 minutes.Whisk in 1/4 cup of flour, and 2 cups of whole milk cook till it thickens. Add 3 cups of shredded cheddar cheese (sharp is preferable!) to that and stir till it melts. Now, toss THAT with the pasta along with salt and pepper (to taste), stir in more sharp cheddar cheese, and put it in a casserole dish.In a bowl, mix 1/2 cup of melted butter with 2 cups of rough breadcrumbs (panko is awesome), and spread it on top of the macaroni.Bake in a preheated oven of 200 C for 20-25 minutes, and that's it
