Forty years it had been.
Forty years since the dragon Braxias had had his first taste of human meat in nearly a millennium. A sweet girl called Ruby, whose mind now rested inside his own.
And in that time, Braxias had caused the downfall of the pathetic human civilization, which was already inches away from destroying itself. It was disorienting, to say the least, that a land that was only rumor the last time he'd had contact with a human was now the center of commerce in the entire world.
But it didn't last. Braxias did not mean to bring the human race to the brink of extinction. But when the armies of the world were brought against him, he defended himself. Quite efficiently too, he thought.
In this absence of global security, Braxias bred his very own army. Thanks to a genetic bridge created by Ruby, his sons were half-human, half-dragon, all identically tall, with cold blue eyes, black hair, and protected by scales beneath their soft, pale, hairless skin, their chests barren of nipples.
The lord of humanity rested in a chamber in his new fortress, carved into what he understood to be a monument to four past leaders of this nation. The chamber was padded with pillows from top to bottom, warmly lit with candles. Two of his sons entered. Despite their identicality, he recognized each one. These two were from the north.
"My lord," the one on the left said, "We found one."
"What? One what?" the beast questioned eagerly.
"See for yourself."
Two more of his sons entered, dragging a female bound by rope. Braxias sighed, pleasured, and commanded, "LEAVE!"
The men left as Braxias stood over a true prize. The female had light golden hair, wearing a black T-shirt, those rough blue pants he disliked, and white-toed black boots reminiscent of his first human love, Ruby. This one had glasses and a ring of metal through its nose, another feature the beast dispised.
But aside from his displeasure, Braxias looked forward to this one. Her kind were usually rebellious. Feisty. Which made them much more of a pleasure to break.
But this one was already broken. It whimpered.
"Do not be frightened, human," Braxias brought his neck down, his enormous head the size of his prey."I am salvation from your kind's self-destructive ways. Considering you wiped my kind from the Earth, is it not merciful that I would keep any of you alive? Even breed with you?"
"You have your reasons," the girl spat, still refusing to look at her superior.
"Is it not ironic that in your primordial state, your kind nearly wiped us out, yet with your weapons of mass destruction, you could not kill me?
"Don't think I had anything to do with it. I was born twenty-one years after it happened."
"So much knowledge... Where did you learn that?"
"There are thousands of us. A city in Canada full of us following the old ways. We're gonna take your scaly ass down."
"Where?" the dragon boomed. "WHERE?!" The fleshy thing did not respond. "Very well."
Braxias slashed the ropes off his victim with a single claw. She attempted to flee, but was snatched up immediately and brought to Braxias' mouth.
"What are you called?"
The girl winced away.
"WHAT ARE YOU CALLED?" His breath heating her skin.
"L- Leah," she whimpered. A tear rolled down her soft cheek.
Braxias groaned in pleasure, peeling off her trappings. Her pink nipples were dotted horizontally with barbells, the same on her clitoris. This one was not pure. It deserved less mercy. Grabbing her hips, he slammed the girl down on his leathery cock facing him, clenching her harder in pleasure. This ripped open her skin, blood spilling everywhere.
What was a small drop of pre-ejaculate fluid to Braxias quickly filled and flooded Leah, washing away some blood. Braxias picked her up and rammed her back down, slipping in a bit easier. But he contintued to pull down. Leah fainted from pain, her body going limp as Braxias shattered her pelvic bone and tore through her uterine wall. Her organs were rammed aside to make room for her master's meat.Pushing down more, Braxias blasted her full of his seed, her body expanding. He roared as loudly as he could and tossed his victim against the wall.
The bag of flesh hit the wall with a splash, semen splattering all over the room, glasses shattering. Two sons entered.
"Are you finished with her, master?"
"For now."
"Shall I bring her to the hatchery?"
"No. this one is far too damaged. I need its mind. Have it brought to the kitchen and tell the chef to ensure her heart and lungs are intact and that she is alive."
"Yes, sir."
* * *
The next evening, Leah lay on a platter, bound and gagged with an apple, wearing her shattered glasses, nine chairs arranged around a table. Her master's acidic seed had melted away most of her organs, but she was left just enough alive. When she awoke, it didn't take long to guess what would become of her.
Nine men entered, followed by the booming footsteps of Braxias. They sat around the table, Braxias at the head facing Leah.
"So nice of you to join us, Leah. Would you like to stay for dinner?" Braxias teased. A few men chuckled. "Don't worry. You're about to become a part of something far greater than yourself: ME!" A few laughs resonated. "Or not. All you need to do to save yourself is beg me." She wiggled and the apple budged. All but one of the men laughed cruelly. "DIG IN!"
The men clammored as Leah was barraged with silverware, torn apart piece by piece as vegetables were plucked from her posterior orifices. "I'll take a thigh!" "Drumstick for me!" "Can I have some white meat?" "Master wants the white meat." "Rump, then."
"Give me the feet," demanded the one who had not laughed.
"Both?" another asked
"They're mostly bone. Look at all the meat on one half of the rump."
"Alright..."
He was handed the two small feet, already separated from the girl's calves. He carved along the sole of one, expertly picking out each tiny bone. He bent the toes back and forth, satisfied with his foot filet. When he finished, he took the remaining foot and exited the table.
"Where's he going?"
"Oh, you know how he is with feet."
Braxias observed his sons' feast until there was nothing left of the girl but torso and head. She looked up, fearfully.
"Alright, boys. The grand finale." Braxias snatched up his prize, tearing the apple from her mouth. "Someone get rid of this disgusting excuse for food." He threw it against the wall, then lifted his prey into his mouth. Leah whimpered and pleaded with him, but
SNAP! The dragon's jaws shut. When they opened again, Leah's screams echoed through the room, a sharp tooth impaling her right breast. Braxias twirled her around with his tongue, before closing his mouth and breathing fire. Though cooked, she was still living. CRUNCH! CRUNCH! Shrieks, blood, and bone filled the dragon's mouth. He flicked his tongue back, Leah bouncing off the roof of his mouth down his throat. Down, down, down. Her screams were now inaudible as she was slowly dissolved by stomach acid. She felt herself slip away.
Darkness. Then an echo.
"Hey there. I'm Ruby. I heard what you told him. You can't let him know."
