It looks like my quiet life is going to change for the worse when that first human screamed at me because one after another they came to attack. At first it was one at a time, then some of them came in little squads. The most that attacked were around 213-308 and well organized from what I saw. That last one didn't give me a challenge of power but numbers attacking and going for the door. After that attack was dealt with I had to rethink my door defense plan.
I was spending a couple days figuring out a couple ways when I settled on the idea of just taking them a little seriously. So now I'll think of the people trying to escape as a bit of a threat to me. This proved to be the best option because the next time a large group attacked they didn't even have time to try for the door. After a couple more tries it got back to my nice and happy quiet time.
Have you ever felt like your being watched? If you have than imagine that feeling ten fold and instantly when someone even comes close to looking at you and waking you up from a dead sleep. The logical guess would be someone is trying to escape again and I would not blame you for the assumption, but this time it came from the other door. On further inspection it wasn't a god like usual but just some random Demigod muttering "please don't eat me" over and over again.
After the numerous attacks this lone stammering demigod was a really welcome change because he was looking at me with so much fear I knew he either hasn't seen anything really terrifying in his life or I blew everything out of the water by comparison. I didn't want to be to cruel to the little guy so I waited for him to talk first cause being rude to someone who didn't deserve it was something only a real asshole would do.
"Mr g-g-g-ate guardian of h-h-h-ell my name is j-j-j-ack and I would appreciate I-I-I-f you could please help me. A-a-all the other Gods said t-t-to ask you because you probably had nothing better to d-d-d-do. They couldn't be b-b-b-bothered to help a weak s-s-stammering demigod like myself."
Well those dirty rotten bastards!!!! This kid just wanted a little help and instead basically tell him to piss off. Well I'll be damned is this guy doesn't get at least a little help.
"All right kid what do you want from me? If it's within my power I'll give you a hand, under the terms of you leave after I granted or denied your request."
"I-I-I-I will gladly do as you ask for the fact y-y-you are even talking to m-m-me and not making for of me like others. My request if for s-s-s-some sort of strong a-a-a-armor I can wear if it's n-n-n-n-not to much trouble."
"Well the kid did ask nicely didn't he? That may be true but do we want to be known for being nice or feared? Could have him not say anything for doing him this favor. Yeah that true, besides its not like it will be difficult to make. I'll just make him some armor to keep him alive till he can take care of himself. All right lets do it for him."
"T-t-t-t-thank you for granting my request I-I-I-I-I shall not tell a soul about t-t-t-this kindness you have shown me. I m-m-m-m-may be able to s-s-s-s-survive till I get to safety."
Wait a minute when did I say I would grant this kids request? Hmm can be read my mind? No that should be impossible to read my mind. "Well to hell with it I should get started." Why does he have that weird smile on his face. Must be happy to get armor I guess.
Ok simple chainmail should do just fine for his build. Let's make it all black so they no he has good armor and wind mess with him. "What attributes should it have?" Unbreakable would be to unfair but a little tougher than metal should do fine. When in danger be able to think clearly and not panic is a good one. Higher charisma so people will want to help him. Armor can only be worn by him and will change its shape to fit his body.
"Ok kid he important ones I want you to know are that only you can wear it, it will change to fit you as you grow or change and you think clearly when your life is in danger so you don't panic. There's one more thing it can do but I won't tell you because it's kind of a little gift to you and you don't need to know it."
T-t-t-thank you for this gift and if I s-s-survive I'll try to contact y-y-y-you for a friendly chat. Don't worry I won't t-t-t-tell anyone about who made the a-a-armor and just say I found it."
You know I actually kinda like this kid. He may be a bit on the weird side but hell so am I. "All right Jack be on your way and I hope you survive. Oh here's a ring for you that when your safe just tap it ten times and it will let me know your safe and then disappear off your hand."
You know it was kinda fun to actually talk to someone who isn't trying to kill you for once. To bad he was only asking for assistance and not a proper conversation. I guess I'll go to sleep again and wait for the next interesting thing to happen.
