Hello Everyone,
I am Fatesknight and if you are reading this you must be reading something of mine so i am writing this to give you all some insight, and for my serious readers a place to post questions and get answers. from here on out i will be checking this posting for comments and posting replies. because in all honesty i have not checked on Requiem in a while. i was pleasantly surprised to read some of the comments. So for all my readers i will be continuing Requiem, and Celestial.
and i am sorry but if i pull something down and re edit it i promise it will become better and most of the problems are things that i write and my wife goes what but you said this and this earlier and i am like damnit and she is like fix it and i am like damn ( <----- yes i did that on purpose)
a little history on Celestial Fall. i started Celestial Fall last year. My wife challenged me to the November Novel challenge for those that don't know you are challenged to write 50,000 words in the month of November. big thing i got in the first few chapters and realized it would not stop at 50,000 words and i got to worrying. and decided i would just write it on my own. but i needed help i needed the comments the proof reading the editing. i needed to know if someone liked reading my stories. it helped and my wife at the time refused to read Celestial Fall until the end of November. so i was boned. i stopped writing. will i start writing it again yes i will.
Requiem was a thought that blossomed into me writing. it was a good story and i didn't have an editor for it so it started and flopped around a lot. in the beginning i read a lot of Ka Hmnd's stories and was intrigued (BTW Ka Hmnd moved to " http://storiesonline.net/a/Ka_Hmnd " he moved over there because this site deleted a bunch of his stories in that move about underage stuff) i sent him a message and begged to let me write a story in his universe. and this is what that thought was " the Kaire are a very strong race and very much hunters. so what happened when the kaire first met humans? was there war? how did they meet ?" and that is where requiem evolved from i will be continuing it but it is more than requiem it will be part of the Black Suns Series i originally wanted to write a story from each of the Black Suns point of view how their lives were before the Black suns how they were recruited and so on. the meeting of the kaire is only a stepping stone for that series. but yes it will be continued please be patient.
now Dragons of Arma it is my current baby and one i love i have some many thoughts for this i brought my wife in to write notes on it and to bounce ideas back and forth on it i really suprised her with the way i think up my universes (which i usually why i have huge introductions in my stories). i write to get it out she edits now. i write big introductions so you all can see inside the universe in my head.but now due to her seeing what is in my head she is pressing me and pushing me to write more she edits all chapters of Arma (Cough except for 7 - 8 Cough) *though i might be posting the revised edition soon the fight scene seemed a little off for her so i expanded it more and added some stuff so keep an eye out.
please if you see something or something reads off to you please for the love of the goddess tell me that way i can fix it you guys are my test audience i plan on trying to get at least Celestial and Arma Published (hoping and praying for Tor) i already have great opinions of some of my reads (i.e Larynx guy) and know that some idiots do read my stuff (i.e. the guy who thinks that humans are only born with one soul) so please let me know what you think be honest. you are helping. and just so we are understand each other i will be posting my email address at the bottom of this if you want to be in a story please let me know (Larynx guy you have earned a spot in my story email me)
the way i write will always be from the perspective of the main character there will be a few things here and there that are at the end or before the beginning of a story.
if you have questions about other questions of a story let me know on here and i will post answers to any questions ... unless they would be spoilers .... sorry guys i won't do direct spoilers maybe round about spoilers or the kind that makes you go "Wait ... What"
i write as well as my Muse lets me and Yes i have a Muse and sometimes she does take vacations. ;) you will see many references here and there to some of my favorite thing yes these are a few of my favorite things
i promise for the time being i will be focusing on these three stories until i see them through till the end. i don't think i will be starting a new one until i am done with one of these.
i will be starting to post a few character profiles so if there is a character you want to know more about let me know i will write up a profile for them that way you can get to know them and can be closer to your favorite character before i kill them (George R.R. Martin style) Just kidding well maybe not
